WELCOME TO VALLEY FORGE!
Recreation, history and fabulous retail intersect in irresistible ways in the Valley Forge area. Valley Forge, located 20 miles west of downtown Philadelphia, is most often remembered as the site of George Washington’s winter encampment of 1777-1778, where the army was transformed from a rag-tag band of soldiers into the fighting force that won the American Revolution. However, it’s also a great place to unwind, and it serves as the gateway to a region brimming with recreational and cultural resources.

CME ACCREDITATION FOR PHYSICIAN ASSISTANTS
Conference organizers plan to request up to 26 hours of AAPA Category 1 CME for the clinical/professional sessions and 16 hours of AAPA Category 1 CME for the workshops from the American Academy of Physician Assistants. The total number of approved credits are yet to be determined.

The Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants plans to apply to the American Academy of Physician Assistants for up to six Self-Assessment credits for several of the clinical sessions.

The CME Certificate for PAs attending the conference will be sent via US Mail to the registration address.

NCCPA LOGGING
The NCCPA and the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants have worked together to reduce the time and effort associated with logging your conference hours for our Fall CME Conference. NCCPA has designed a special system whereby PAs can click on a unique link in their online NCCPA personal certification record at www.nccpa.net and select the sessions they attended from a master list of sessions that PSPA supplied to NCCPA. The PA can automatically apply those sessions wherever they need them, as long as the hours are earned in the correct logging window. Logging will be available starting November 1, 2017.

SELF-PRINTING OF LECTURES
42nd Annual PSPA CME Conference receives the preliminary lecture slides or outlines from our speakers prior to the conference. The material that we receive will be online for conference registrants by October 14, 2017. Please keep in mind that the speakers may make last minute changes to their presentations that would not be in the pre-conference postings. To access the slides, go to the website at www.pspa.net. Click on Events, Annual Conference, Posting of Conference Lectureswhich is the last menu option under Annual Conference. A login screen will open if you are not already logged in. If you are a member, enter your PSPA number in the first box as your login ID and enter your case-sensitive password in the second box. If you are not a member, please refer to the conference brochure or your registration confirmation email for a login ID and password to view the lectures. Click Login and a detailed conference schedule should open. Click on the underlined lecture topics to open the slides.

PSPA will post the final slides for self-printing beginning November 6, 2017. The slides will be available on the website until December 1, 2017, for non-members.

REGISTRATION BADGES WILL BE REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION TO ALL CONFERENCE EVENTS.

EXHIBIT HALL
When you visit the exhibit hall, take time to visit our vendors and poster presenters. When you stop by each booth, they will stamp your raffle card. After receiving 20 stamps, you are entitled to a “key” to our treasure chest that holds a wonderful gift. One gift is provided daily. Try your luck and also enjoy the information that the pharmaceutical representatives, poster presenters, schools, potential employers and marketplace vendors will be providing during this time.

Exhibit Hall hours are as follows:
Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am and 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm
Friday, October 20, 2017 from 7:00 am – 8:00 am and 10:00 am – 11:00 am 

PA MARKETPLACE
The Exhibit Hall is open to any PA who has a side business or hobby that he/she might want to share with the conference attendees. There is a nominal fee (the cost PSPA incurs to rent the table) but after that, it is all profit for you.
